A model has been awarded €15,000 for a shoulder injury.

The Plaintiff, aged 25, injured her shoulder when a cherry picker reversed in her vehicle.

The Plaintiff was commended by Judge Jacqueline Linnane of the Circuit Court for having fully disclosed two previous road traffic accidents wherein she received personal injury compensation.

The Defendants argued that the Plaintiff had driven at speed into the back of the cherry picker. However, Judge Linnane stated that the Plaintiff had given far more compelling evidence than the Defendant.

Judge Linnane did not accept the account given by the Defendant and awarded the Plaintiff €15,000.
