We are committed to making our website accessible in accordance with the AA standard under WCAG 2.1 guidelines.

This accessibility statement applies to moranryan.com only – not other external linked websites or subdomains.

Compliance status

Our website is partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines.

Non-accessible content:
PDFs: Many documents are published as PDFs – which are less accessible than HTML pages for people using assistive technologies. Some of the issues with PDFs include:
the fact that they are not bookmarked ( WCAG guideline 2.4.5 )
tables in PDFs are not defined ( WCAG guideline 1.3.1 )

How we test the our website site

We use the WCAG level AA guidelines to test how accessible our website is.
We used the software Axe DevTool by Deque University, recomended by the NDA (National Disability Authority).
We used the software WAVE Web Accessibility Evaluation Tool by WebAIM (Web Accessibility Evaluation).
We used the Sa11y plugin by the Toronto Metropolitan University.

How we are going to improve accessibility on our website.

We will continue to work to make sure the publishing of HTML pages instead of less accessible formats like PDF
