Seamus ConnollySeamus Connolly | Managing Partner

Seamus Connolly is Managing Partner of the firm. He has extensive knowledge and experience in relation to commercial property, corporate, planning and litigation matters.

Seamus is also the primary contact with our international clients. He is qualified in both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Chris ConnollyChris Connolly | Partner

Chris is a Partner and Head of the firm’s Commercial Property Unit.

Chris trained and spent seven years at one of the “Big Five” law firms in the country. He has extensive experience in acting for clients in commercial property matters, including acquisitions, disposals and lease negotiations. He also has experience acting on behalf of borrowers in negotiations with funds.

He holds a Diploma in Commercial Property from the Law Society of Ireland.

Chris is also experienced in all aspects of commercial litigation, including advising leading Irish and international companies and individuals on commercial disputes in the Circuit Court, High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court.

In addition, Chris has expertise regarding legal matters in the area of sport. For a number of years, he has advised national and international governing bodies as well as elite athletes on contentious and commercial matters. He has also advised a number of leading international brands on commercial and sponsorship agreements.

Caoimhe ConnollyCaoimhe Connolly | Partner & Registered Trade Marks Agent

Caoimhe Connolly is head of Moran & Ryan’s Civil Litigation Unit.
Having been awarded a Law degree from Trinity College Dublin and a Commercial Litigation Diploma from the Law Society of Ireland, Caoimhe worked for a number of years in small and medium practices in Dublin as well as a leading law firm in Sydney, Australia.

Caoimhe has extensive experience in areas such as employment law, defamation, personal injury, licensing and family law. She is also qualified to practice in Northern Ireland, England and Wales.

Caoimhe has recently been appointed as a Notary Public by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court

Fiona HickeyFiona Hickey | Senior Associate

Fiona is a Senior Associate in the firm’s Commercial Property Unit. She joined the firm in 2016 from a leading corporate law practice where she spent over three years acting in a variety of commercial property matters, including acting for both buyers and sellers of a number of loan portfolio transactions relating to loans secured by Irish real estate assets.

Prior to that Fiona spent seven years in a “Big Five” Dublin law firm where she gained considerable experience in all areas of commercial property in particular dealing with multi-property transactions and the acquisition and disposal of investment property.

Fiona advises financial institutions and their appointed receivers on the management, leasing and disposal of distressed assets.

She has also lectured and tutored in the Law Society on various property law matters.

Aideen ShanleyAideen Shanley | Solicitor

Aideen is a solicitor with many years of experience in commercial & residential property, including regarding acquisitions, disposals, leases and contentious matters arising.

Aideen is leading the firm’s Private Client Unit, including drafting wills and managing the administration of estates.
