A woman has been awarded €115,000 in damages after suffering a fall in Dublin Zoo in June 2011.

Gwen Leost Kane sued the Zoological Society of Ireland after she sustained serious injuries resulting from a fall outside the sea lions’ enclosure of Dublin Zoo.


Woman Awarded €55,000 for Yoghurt Spill

A 59-year-old Dublin woman has been awarded €55,000 in damages by the Circuit Civil Court after slipping on a yogurt in Tesco four years ago.

The incident occurred in April 2012 when Dee Kenny was shopping in Tesco in Ballybrack and slipped on a spilled yogurt falling on her right side.
